About us
About Protunez
Protunez is an independent news publication covering breaking news and current affairs. We publish clear, evidence-led reporting on the stories that shape daily life — from global politics and the economy to technology, health, science and sport.
What we do
Our newsroom publishes a detailed explanatory report every day on a significant developing story. Rather than repeating wire copy, each piece sets out the background, the verified facts, the range of expert interpretation, and the practical consequences for readers.
Our editorial standards
- Accuracy first. Claims are checked against primary sources — official statistics, published research, regulatory filings and on-record statements.
- Attribution. Where we rely on external data or reporting, we name and link the source so readers can verify it.
- Neutral framing. We report contested questions by setting out the strongest version of each position, and we label analysis as analysis.
- Uncertainty is stated. Where evidence is incomplete or a forecast is contested, we say so rather than implying false precision.
- Corrections. Errors are corrected promptly and noted openly at the foot of the affected article.
Sections we cover
Protunez publishes in six sections: World, Politics, Business & Economy, Technology, Health & Science and Sports. Each has a dedicated editor responsible for accuracy and follow-up coverage.
Advertising and independence
Protunez is funded by advertising. Advertisements are clearly labelled and are served separately from editorial content. Advertisers have no access to, or influence over, our reporting, headlines or story selection. Any sponsored content, should we publish it, will be labelled as such at the top of the page.
How we use images
Photographs and illustrations on Protunez are either licensed, produced in-house or generated for illustrative purposes. Illustrative images are described accurately in their ALT text and captions and are never presented as documentary evidence of a specific event.
